“Kate has a fabulous voice and energizes the room with her positive spirit. She was able to connect with many of our students and have a significant impact on them. Her friendly, easy-going nature made it easy for students to ask sensitive/challenging questions which she happily answered. Great concert and great feedback from students! ”
— Liselle Prickett, Vice-Principal - Twin Lakes Secondary School, Simcoe County School District, Barrie, ON
“Students hear Kate's message loud and clear, and feel empowered to stand up and make room for everyone in their school. My students (middle school ages 12-14) were so energized by Kate's music and stories that they couldn't stop talking about all kinds of plans for our NoH8 group to put into motion to reach more kids with this message of acceptance and respect. It's not just about being gay, it's about being you. ”
